How do i put media into my unlock iphone?

Hey,

So I bought unlock iphone from ebay.
When I try to sync into itunes, it says that sim card inserted not supported. Since i have that sim sheet that goes under the card, i can use t-mobile for it.
What do I need to do to be able to put itunes media and put apps into it?

There is more to it then just unlocking it. By having it unlocked all it did was allow you to make calls on another carrier (T-Mobile).

Right now you are limited in use. You have to “jailbreak” the iPhone. There have been warnings in doing this, first I don’t know if it is legal, it voids your apple warrenty, and doing it can run the risk of distroying the phone.

So warnings aside, Jailbreaking your phone will open the entire iPhone file system for use and allow you to put your software into it. What program to unlock the iPhone is the best?

I have found a free program to unlock the iphone but certain things on the phone don't work. like the email and sometimes the internet. im looking for the best unlocking software that will let me use everything on the phone correctly and use downloaded software also. give me prices and websites please thank you

Before anything you need to be on 1.1.4 firmware…very important. If you are not then restore to 1.1.4 through iTunes. Do this by holding down the power and home button while its connected to iTunes and wait for connect to itunes symbol. Once it pops up on itunes that your iphone is in restore mode click shift(pc) or option (mac) and press restore. A window will pop up, then navigate to where ever you downloaded the 1.1.4 firmware and clickon it. It should start restoring. Ok here are your options:iLiberty, iPlus, PWNAGE or ziPhone.
ZiPhone is the worst of it's kind. It damages the software and WiFi,Edge or Bluetooth. Its uses stole script and that's why it has so many faults. Do not use!
iLiberty and iPlus is extremely well developed and very easy to use. Created by same person. I recommend using it!
PWNAGE is a little harder and requires some computer skills. What it does is load a custom firmware onto your phone. It withstands future updates from Apple and uses a software called bootneuter to jailbreak/unlock and hacktivate =).

The only thing to watch out for is that you need iTunes to sync the iPhone. Because of all the unlocking, Apple and AT&T are constantly updating iTunes to defeat all the unlocking. So if you aren't aware of this after unlocking your iPhone – you'll find that the next time you sync your phone with iTunes will be your last time. At that point the phone will become useless.

What does it mean to unlock a Iphone 3G?

All over the net when I search for the Iphone 3G , a lot of them say, Iphone 3G UNLOCKED. What does this mean? Is it good? Is it legal?

it just means that the iphone will mork with a SIM card from any phone company ,were as a locked iPhone would only work with a sim card from the provider it was bought with .
