This will show you how to jailbreak your iphone/ipod with the latest Apple update 1.1.4.
1) Restore iphone/ipod touch to 1.1.4
2) Download ZiPhone at http://www.ziphone.org
3)click on wither jailbreak iphone or ipod touch depends on what u have
4) 2 apps should appear on ipod the installer for the hack and the ziphone website app
5) click on installer and go to system and install BSD Subsystems it is needed for many apps in the jailbreak

im doing it atm right, and its doin the stuff but when i click Click to show process output, it says searching for ipod, ive got it connected to laptop, and itunes is open with it connected and stuff, its been searchinf for around 45 mins?

it should be in …
it should be in your system folder on the installer and should be called BSD Subsystems
If it is not there go to your sources folder and install Community sources then try it again
