Can I set songs as ringtones on the iPhone?

sixstringchick08, Newer phones allow you to copy ringtones from your computer directly to your phone. I know my iPhone lets me do that. If you phone doesn’t support ringtones you can find them online. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Ringtones.html

it seems like an amazing phone, and I want it. Anyway, I have iTunes and when you right click on a song one of the options is “Create Ringtone” so I would assume that you can.

its a great phone with many 3rd party application available for free or to purchase. only problem that i have with the phone is the batter life. i have to charge it every night, but it charges faster than any other phone that ive ever had. yes you can set ring tones but it has to be downloaded as a ring tone, not a song. u can get these tones from either iTunes or download them free on websites like myxertones.com.

Yes I highly consider buying the phone. It has the best touch screen on the market hands down. With the addition of the app store the phone has unlimited possibilities along with software updates that will keep the phone up to date. As for ringtones, you have to have purchase songs from itunes and then convert them into ringtones. Another way in which you can get ring tones is from a website called Mobile17.com that takes any song you want and you can start it from where ever you want and create a ringtone for your phone.

Yes, you can set songs as ringtones.

You just have to create an account
They let you chose an mp3 file to create a ringtone out of
They email you the ringtone, then you download the attachment, click open and that opens in the iTunes ringtones section
Then you just sync your iPhone.
The iPhone is an awesome phone, I recommend it.

I use Ventones , it’s a free site where you can upload and make your own Iphone ringtones for FREE from mp3 files. super easy

I have been using Ventones since the Iphone came out over 1 year ago and now I use it for my new Iphone 3g as well
