How to Jailbreak Firmware 2.2 on the iPod Touch/iPhone – FOR WINDOWS/MAC

AS OF RIGHT NOW, 2ND GENERATION IPOD’S CANNOT BE JAILBROKEN. AS SOON AS YOU CAN JAILBREAK 2ND GENERATION IPOD’S, I WILL POST THAT YOU CAN IN THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION.
Hey guys, here is a video on how to jailbreak firmware 2.2 on the iPod Touch or iPhone. Here is the link to download QuickPwn2.2

If for some reason firmware 2.2 does not come up on the QuickPwn screen, here is where you can download firware 2.2.

To find out what firmware you need to install, go to your “Settings”, then go “General”, then go to “About” and under version, it will either tell you 5G77 or 5G77a. Whichever one it is, download that firmware. I hope that helps everyone who has the question!
If you guys are getting “Firmware Error Sting”, that means you are downloading the wrong firmware. To download the right kind, make sure you know what version you are by checking on your iPod Touch/iPhone under “About”.

If QuickPwn does not open and you get an application error, that means you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework. Just search it on Google and install it. Then QuickPwn will work.

alright polar man i think i found our dilemma in this case….when the running pineapple came up and the download bar was going, i never noticed that it never completely finished…but after 3 times i realized that holding down the home button (or whatever you hold down last) for the entire jailbreak may keep it in check…just a thought…any thoughts you

I had a jailbroken 1.1.5 ipod, but i restored it and went to 1.1.5 unjailbroken. now when i try to update to 2.2, i get an “unknown error has occured (14)…”

Plug your iPod into your computer, go to iTunes, and authorize your iPod. It should work after that.
