Can I use the IPhone without getting a plan? Do I need to do all those downloads or sims card trades? I don’t.?

If all you want from an iPhone is a camera then it simply makes no sense to buy one. To answer the question no you can’t buy an iPhone without a plan (2-year contract to AT&T). Only unless you buy a used one from say somewhere like eBay.

Yea you can use it as long as it has a sim card in there. It doesnt have to be an active sim card just a sim card.
