How much would a decent amount of minutes, a lot of texts, and unlimited internet/email cost per month for an iphone 3g?
Depends were you live. In the US or Canada you can get away with a nice package for $60-$80 / month.

the basic plan with unlimited data and no texting is $69.00, but I believe unlimited everything is like $100.00.
Apple just started a think on there website to order the phone online and have it sent to a local Apple store for activation. You can also see the plans. Heres the link http://www.apple.com/iphone/buy/

Your choice, actually. On the link below, on my sources, it will show you everything. If you're an enterprise user using it for business, the second link is for you.
All plans form AT&T include: Unlimited Web/E-mail, Visual Voicemail, Unlimited Mobile-to-Mobile, Unlimited Nights and Weekends, and the Rollover® features. The Text Messaging Rates are now separated from the iPhone 3G Plans, but it starts at $5.00 for 200 if you would like to add it.
There are also CURRENT AT&T CUSTOMERS options, where it changes (Qualifying) CURRENT AT&T CUSTOMERS plans by just adding a few things. The minimum upgrade is $30, with the addition of the UPGRADE COST of $18. Check if you are eligible for an upgrade first.
All of these methods require a minimum 2-YEAR CONTRACT. Current AT&T customers will EXTEND their contract by 2 years.
