Posted by admin on Wednesday Dec 10, 2008 Under iphone 3gHow much do I have to pay for a Iphone 3g, without a contract of 2 years, because I've seen some people saying that they bought they Iphone 3g 8gigs, for $400, but I read that It would cost $599
, so whats the final price?
iPhone 3G will be available for $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model. These prices require two-year contracts and are available to the following customers:
iPhone customers who purchased before July 11
Customers activating a new line with AT&T
Current AT&T customers who are eligible, at the time of purchase, for an upgrade discount
Existing AT&T customers who are not currently eligible for an upgrade discount can purchase iPhone 3G for $399 for the 8GB model or $499 for the 16GB model. Both options require a new two-year service agreement.
Here’s the interesting part… “ In the future, AT&T will offer a no-contract-required option for $599 (8GB) or $699 (16GB).”

Without a contract, it's $599. The other people who purchased the phones for that price signed a contract

assuming you are a new att customer, here is the price you need to pay:
Iphone 3G 8GB: $199
Early termination cost: $175
One monthly charge: $70
Activation: $36
Total: $480
if you open a family plan, it will lower your average cost per phone because activation for 2nd line is $26 and monthly charge is $65 per line for the first two line and $40 per line for addition lines
P.S. Ebay average sale price: $750
