For those who are not familiar with what an IPA is, it stands for Interprocedural Analysis. It is sort of an optimization that is performed across procedure boundaries and across calls to procedures in separate source files. When you hear the term Cracked Applications, it means that the phone systems such as the iPhones are hacked by computer users. There are thousands of iPhones that have cracked applications. It should be said that adding cracked applications to the IPA files is illegal.
But most people who add their cracked applications to the phones IPA use them to add illegal games and music that are not free. It is a way to bypass paying for the games and music. You will need in most cases the Jailbreak 2.2 Operating System. If you search the Internet they will offer you ways to add these files to your phone and others will tell you what files are most popular. For example, there is a website that offers some files that are cracked and perfect for the iPhone.
Some of those files were Jerk In a Box 1.0.0, iDB Datamaster Pro 1.0.3, Rooms 0.6.8, Plaringo Instant Messenger 1.2.2, Mixing Faces 1.1 and Fan Caps 1.0. Even though there are people who own websites that will tell you how to do it but they add a disclaimer that it is illegal and it should not be done. The best way to add IPA files is to download the games and other application through the Apple Retail Store Online.
The iPhone comes with so many features, music and games that there isn’t a need to download cracked files but there are some people that don’t want to pay for ringtones, games and wallpaper. So they use proxy sites and hack into the systems and add their own files.
Some of the most popular cracked ipa files used for the iPhone are Air Hockey, Alien Invasion, Aqua Forest, Beach Volleyball, Banner 1.1 and Break Classic 0.9.8. The only thing you need to add cracked applications is the Jailbreak Operating System. The current version is said to be the best, Jailbreak 2.2. You also have install files from the Mobile Installation Files from the iPhone 2.1. This you can do off of most websites that promote cracked applications.
Everything else is done strictly through the iPhone. You will have to reset your phone’s permissions and rename the Mobile Installation Files. It does take a lot of work. In fact, it may take someone who is not familiar with the process hours to download a game. It may not be cheaper but it is legal and it takes much less time.
If you are interested in using cracked applications to your iPhone, there are so many websites that can help you do just that. But keep in mind that these are illegal downloads and by hacking into the iPhone systems, you may affect the way the phone works, it could cause your phone to crash.

Ok….I have a first gen iphone and have been with att for almost a year and have done all the updates, syncing etc.. I am thinking about jailbreaking it and installing 3 party apps. Will I have to reactivate it? Can I safely sync with itunes afterwards? I’m new to this whole process and dont want to ruin the phone or have to reactivate and run into all sorts of trouble. Thx!

The title pratically sums it up…is it safe to jailbreak and iphone or and ipod touch with version 2.1 firmware?
hell no if you jailbreak your ipod at any verson there is a very high chance of it turning off and never turning backon take it from the guy who designed the ipod touch. yes i desinged the i pod touch email me i will answer all qustion about the ipod and how to fix it if it gets broken my email is jdude2803@yahoo.com. the jail breaking soft ware destroys the ipods software and rplaces it with another software that is only half as good as the apple soft ware and makes your ipod run 6 times slower it takes 5 minutes to start up pleas email me if you havee any more question
