Loyal MySpace users can rest a bit easier tonight, knowing the two biggest threats to their accounts have been dealt with. Notorious MySpace spammers Sanford Wallace and Walter Rines were fined a record $234 million by the US District Court for the Central District of California Friday. Wallace and Rines reportedly sent over 700,000 pieces of spam to unsuspecting users, using both newly created and hijacked accounts. The judgment was passed under the guise of the “CAN-SPAM Act,” a roughly four year old law aimed at cracking down on various annoyances.

On the browser front, the Mozilla Foundation released the latest version of Firefox on Friday. “Firefox 3.0 r c 1″ features everything beta testers have come to love in the new browser, while dropping a few of its “less-admired” bugs and conflicts. New to cell phones last week is Opera Mini 4.1, the latest in the company’s “Opera for mobile devices” line. Well, there's many excellent free applications at the AppStore, I personally have:

Shazam – find out the name of any song that's playing
Pandora – Internet radio
QIK – Video upload and streaming
QuickVoice – Voice recording
TWC – Complete weather reference
Remote – WiFi iTunes remote
Flixster – Box office info at cinemas near you
Topple – Great game with multitouch and accelerometer support
Cameraman – Find the 5 differences of two seemingly identical photos.
Facebook – Enough said

Hi I just purchased an Unlocked iPhone 3G and i want to transfer my downloads from my itouch to the iphone. how do i do this? Most of the app d/ls were free but I have one that I payed for.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Step 1: After your iPhone/iPod/iTouch connected to pc, Launch the program you will see the right UI. Normally, the program will search the device automacially.If the device is enabled, the files (songs/movies/pics) will be shown in the list.
You also can click the Rescan button to search the device again.

Step 2: Choose the list and files you want to transfer , Click the Start Transfer button.

Step 3: After you clicking the Start Transfer button, the following window will pop up, you can choose transferring to computer or itunes directly. You can set the output fold at settings option before transferring..

Step 4: When the transferring finished, the following window will pop up. It shows that how many files have been done. You can click the Yes button to view the output files.

I have jailbroken my iPhone, downloaded a bunch of apps from UseNext, but can't figure out just how to put them on the iPhone? I use Cydia as an application management tool, but can't find a way there either.

Check if the file you downloaded are .ipa's if they are this will work.

Step Two(Make sure you you donwload a real app from the mobile appstore)
then grab the files and drag them into iTunes as if they were songs.
Step three: connect your ipod/iphone and sync
(you might need to go to the phone options in itunes and make sure sync apps is clicked on.)

When I open my Itunes and sync my iPhone the only tabs are Summary, info, Ringtones, Music, Photos, Podcasts, Videos.

Other people have '' Others'' or ''Applications'' How come?

okay, your problem is very simple, you need to update your software, its free. you are running something before 2.0, to get 2.2, just click update software, its free, easy and will get you apps.
