i got an iphone and i heard of this jailbreaking thing people are doing, I'm not exactly sure what it means yet, something to do with being able to install apps that apple don't approve… anyways, sounds good, I've heard the best apps aren't offered at the app store too, i wanna get in on this but there has gotta be some risks with jailbreakin, anyone know how to safely so it or what can go wrong?

You're right, it gives you tons of great apps which are amazing and you can add themes to the springboard (home screen)
It's not illegal wither if you're worrying – the truth is you gave Apple $400 and now it's yours – lol. They can't stop you!

Sadly though it is true it breaks your warranty – however you can always delete any traces of a jailbreak in a restore of the phone – so apple would never know when you give it in to be serviced!

Overall I recommend it – and even if you mess up the jailbreaking steps of it – you can always restore it in iTunes and start again (that would be impossible to mess up though – it is INCREDIB|LY easy!)

im making my christmas right now and i dont want to put the iphone 3g on the list if i’m not going to be able to use it with tmobile. If you are able, what is the software called that helps you unlock it?

Currently, NO. However, Developers are getting close to being able to do this, but they say you should not update the iPhone’s firmware through iTunes. So i suggest you wait until they have successfully unlocked the iPhone 3G to make things simpler. The software would be called “quickpwn” or “pwnage tool” depending on if your on a pc or mac.

I have a new iphone 3G (8gig) and i want to get some ringtones.. I hv tried 2 use itunes but it says that my Sim Card is not supported.. some says i can download directly through internet. I was able 2 browse them though.. but the thing is theres no option on how to save it! someone.. please help!

Where can I download iPhone games for free? As in you don't have to sign in or pay anything. I really need to know because I don't have anything to do with my iPhone. Besides playing music and texting my friends. Also, the iPhone is really getting boring.
